Obituary

Al Rae, Emeritus Professor of Animal Breeding and Genetics at Massey University, died on October 16, 2009, in Palmerston North.

David Vere-Jones received the Campbell Award for 2009 and Robert Davies received Honorary Life Membership.

The Offlode prizes for student talks went to (joint first) Tilman Davies (Massey, below left, talking with Vince Galvin, SNZ) and Ting Wang (Massey, above), with Danny Chan (Auckland) third, and Lisa Jones (Victoria) the best poster.
