Participants are requested to register
or notify their interest as soon as possible to assist with planning
and to guarantee accommodation will be available.
As an incentive to register early, NZIMA funding assistance is available on a first-in first-serve basis. Currently the only deadline is 27 May for Student Subsidy Application.
Registration Costs
Registration - $200 ($150 covered by NZIMA Funding Assistance for up to
30 New Zealanders)
Conference Dinner at Relishes - $50
Winemakers' Tour at Rippon Vineyard - $10
The Registration fee includes morning and afternoon teas and lunches, as
well as the Workshop Reception on the Tuesday evening.
Accommodation can also be booked through the registration form.
Payments can be made by cheque or credit card. Cheques will be cleared
directly, but credit card payments will be collected for bulk clearance
through NZIMA. The next clearance date will be in mid-April.

Funding Assistance
NZIMA
funding assistance of $150 is available for up to 30 New Zealand residents
on a first-in first-serve basis, to
contribute towards the cost for registration of those who are unable to
cover it from other research grants. If you are wish to claim this,
make the appropriate selection on the registration form and the refund will
be carried through automatically.
Student Participation
An NZIMA
subsidy is available to help cover much of the transport and accommodation
cost for students attending the workshop. The amount granted is $400
for students from the North Island and $250 for students from the South
Island. This is based on super-saver air fares and backpacker
accommodation rates. Transport cover will be in the form of cheques from
NZIMA will be allocated at the workshop. Accommodation will be paid directly
through the Workshop, though you must book it through the registration form.
If you wish to claim this, fill in the student
subsidy application form, including details of your department,
supervisor, subject, and travel plans. Applications must be received by 5 pm
on May 27, 2005.
Funding
will be granted in liaison with student funding for the NZSA conference in
Dunedin.
Accompanying Persons
Accompanying persons are warmly welcomed and are invited to participate in
the social programme. Participants are responsible for all costs
associated with accompanying persons. The registration form allows you to
choose the number of people attending the dinner and winery tour.
