Registration Costs

Registration - $200 ($150 covered by NZIMA Funding Assistance for New Zealander residents)
Workshop Dinner - $50 (Skyline Restaurant on Tuesday 6 December at 7 pm)

The Registration fee includes morning and afternoon teas and lunches, as well as the Workshop Reception on the Monday evening.  Accommodation options are given on the Logistics page.

Payments can be made by cheque or credit card. Cheques will be cleared directly, but credit card payments will be collected for bulk clearance through NZIMA. 

NZIMA Funding Assistance

NZIMA funding assistance of $150 is available for New Zealand residents on a first-in first-serve basis, to contribute towards the cost for registration of those who are unable to cover it from other research grants.  If you are wish to claim this, make the appropriate selection on the registration form and the refund will be carried through automatically.

Student Participation

An NZIMA scholarship is available to help cover much of the transport and accommodation cost for students attending the workshop.  The amount granted is $100, $250 and $400 for students from Wellington, Palmerston North and elsewhere in New Zealand, respectively.  This is based on super-saver air fares and backpacker accommodation rates. Scholarships in the form of cheques from NZIMA will be allocated at the workshop.  If you wish to claim this, fill in the student subsidy application form, including details of your department, supervisor and subject. Applications must be received by 5 pm on October 28, 2005.

Accompanying Persons

Accompanying persons are warmly welcomed and are invited to participate in the social programme.  Participants are responsible for all costs associated with accompanying persons. The registration form allows you to choose the number of people attending the dinner.
