Registration
Registration fees are (a) $200 for NZSA and SSAI members, $100 for students,
up until 15 August 2008 and
(b) $240 for members and $120 for students after 15 August 2008.
There is a $80 surcharge for non–members, which gives NZSA membership for one year.
The registration form also includes a budget accommodation option.
There will be a reception at the University on Sunday 31st August,
at which registration packs and drinks and nibbles will be available for
registrants. There will be a conference dinner
at the Station on the evening of 1st September
The cost will be $50 per head, which will include some drinks.
Education Sessions
Local teachers are warmly invited to attend the Education Day on
Tuesday 2 September. There will be a plenary address by Sharleen
Forbes (Statistics New Zealand) on "Trying to surf the education wave with official statistics",
a session of contributed papers relating to Education, and afternoon
workshops. Some details are yet to be confirmed, but you must register for catering purposes. When
registering you must include the name of your school.
